YOUNG VOLUNTEERS
Are you between 16 to 29 years old?
Do you understand/speak French and English?
Do you want to gain professional experience in your field?
If you answered YES to these questions, you may be eligible for this program. 😊
Young Volunteers allows you to:
- Define your own project to develop your professional skills, your self-esteem, your professional network and your knowledge.
- Contribute to your socio-professional integration to build your experience in the field.
- Showcase your initiatives and creativity within the program.
- Associate yourself with local resource people such as well-established experts in the field.
- Work in your field, go back to school or be self-employed at the end of the project.
All career fields are covered by Young Volunteers! Whether your project is related to the pre-startup stage, the starting of community projects or to the arts and culture such as the preparation of a portfolio, various artistic productions, etc.
You will not be left to yourself during your project! Here is the list of assigned supporting persons available to you.
- Development agent – Cible Retour à l’Emploi: You will be supported and guided throughout the process. You can always refer to this person for any questions about the stages of the program.
- Mentor: You have the chance to choose a mentor who has expertise in your field to ensure the success of your project.
- Employment assistance agent – Bureau de Services Québec: You will have access to your agent who can answer your questions regarding your eligibility file.
- Young Volunteers Advisory Committee: The members of the Committee will give you recommendations following the acceptance of your project.
