Territory Manager Technical Sales

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results driven sales professional with a proven record , based in the Windsor Ontario area, to fill the position of Territory Manager Technical Sales within our organization.

Position: Territory Manager Technical Sales

Territory: Ontario, West Canada and Michigan

Employment starting date: To be determined

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintain and increase presence in automotive and appliance markets in Canada and abroad
• Develop, plan and implement sales strategies for the territory to maximize overall profitability
• Identify potential new customers and penetrate new markets
• Create and execute an effective quarterly call plan
• Provide bi weekly status reports to upper management
• Insure the accuracy and effective management of the sales pipeline

Requirements:

• Experience within the automotive industry, working with OEM`s and Tiers (an asset)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and territory development
• Necessary skills to penetrate new business markets and build lasting business relationships
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Self motivated and results oriented
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office
• College or university degree in marketing or a technical discipline or equivalent experience

Assets:
• Bilingualism (Functional French –Head office Laval Quebec)
• Technical knowledge of adhesives, elastomers like rubber, foam and thermoplastics
• Knowledge of Sage ACT CRM program
• Experience in the gasket/sealing industry applied to the auto markers

Compensation structure:
• Base salary
• Competitive bonus and commission plan
• Accumulation of vacation time at a rate of 6% upon hiring
• Group Health Insurance (medical and dental) after 3 months
• Travel expenses
